Job Title: Warehousing & Inventory Clerk

Compensation: $15/hour

Job Summary

The Warehousing & Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and

distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies used in All Ways Restoration’s property

damage restoration and construction projects, including water extraction, fire repair, smoke

mitigation, storm recovery, and remodeling. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking,

timely replenishment of consumable supplies, and efficient organization of the warehouse to

support field operations under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

● Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including

tools (e.g., demolition tools, hand tools), equipment (e.g., dehumidifiers, air movers),

and restoration supplies (e.g., cleaning agents, protective gear), using manual logs

and digital systems.

● Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against

purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or defects, reporting discrepancies to

the Operations Manager.

● Storage & Organization: Organize and store inventory in the warehouse, ensuring

items are accessible, labeled, and stored safely per OSHA and company standards.

Utilize 5S / Kaizen principles in organizing the facility.

● Distribution: Prepare and distribute materials to field crews based on Work Orders,

ensuring timely delivery to project sites for restoration services.

● Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels, identify low-stock items, and

coordinate with the Operations Manager to reorder supplies, avoiding project delays.

● Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic checks on equipment and report repair

needs to ensure operational readiness. The ability to perform some equipment

repairs is preferred but not required.

● Documentation: Record all inventory transactions (e.g., receipts, issuances,

returns) daily and assist in weekly inventory audits, submitting reports on a weekly

basis.

● Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean and hazard-free

warehouse, and participate in periodic safety meetings as required.

Qualifications

● Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory

management or logistics is a plus.

● Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in warehousing, inventory control, or a related

field, preferably in construction or restoration industries.

● Skills:

○ Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., Excel, warehouse management

systems) and basic math for tracking quantities.

○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate

record-keeping.

○ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

○ Basic understanding of restoration materials and tools (e.g., dehumidifiers,

PPE).

● Licenses: Valid driver’s license; forklift certification is an advantage.

Requirements

● Physical Demands: Frequent standing, lifting, and moving of materials in a

warehouse environment; occasional outdoor work for loading/unloading.

● Work Schedule: Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday,

with potential overtime based on project needs (approved by Operations Manager).
