Job Description
The Print Shop Manager will work on a wide range of customer projects where specific duties and requirements will vary based on the job at hand. The Print Shop Manager will be responsible for handling all aspects of the day to day operations of our print shop as well as ensuring each project is completed properly and on time.
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee and assist with all aspects of the design and print production process in conjunction with the ABC Copy Co team. This includes all aspects of sign, banner, large format and small format print & production process including vinyl plotting & weeding, printer operation and finishing (lamination and trimming).
• Clean and maintain storage and warehouse areas
• Maintain and clean printer equipment for optimal performance
• Step in and assist design department, as needed, with pre-press to ensure the best printing results.
• Keeping up with inventory and advising when supplies are needed.
• Perform onsite surveys to include taking measurements & testing vinyl on multiple surfaces to ensure application is viable
• Coordinate with staff to ensure all installation & production deadlines are met
• Responsible for maintaining excellence through the installation & production process to ensure high-level quality and craftsmanship for all projects
• Abide by and maintain all ABC Copy Co policies, procedures and standards of practice
Requirements
Experience & Skills:
• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred
• 1+ years of managing employees
• Strong attention to detail fused with great multi-tasking ability
• Ability to read rulers and measure with high accuracy
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a group and operate efficiently in a time sensitive environment
• Must have the ability to lift and or move up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for full 8 + hour shift
• Ability & experience with using light power equipment/tools
• Strong verbal & communication skills
• Must have personal vehicle and ability to drive to off-site locations as needed (Driver’s license required)
• Will be required to work odd hours and occasional weekends as customer demands dictate

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
